IPL 2025 Schedule: When Will CSK Play MI This Season?

The big question is finally answered: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will kick off their IPL 2025 season against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) on March 23 (Sunday) at MA Chidambaram Stadium. 

Last time around, the arch-rivals only faced off each other in one clash at Wankhede Stadium, where CSK’s former skipper MS Dhoni smacked three sixes in the final over against MI’s captain Hardik Pandya, as CSK ended up winning a close contest. 

However, this time around, the franchises will take each other for the second time at Wankhede Stadium on April 20 (Sunday). It will be interesting to see how the fans will cheer on their skipper, Hardik this time around after a rather tumultuous time last year.
