Punjab Kings (PBKS) cruised home easily against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) after swatting away 172 runs in just 16.2 overs. However, before that happened, Ayush Badoni and Ravi Bishnoi combined to complete a really athletic relay catch at the boundary to dismiss Prabhsimran Singh, who was the leading run scorer in the chase and scored 69 off just 34 deliveries.Â
Digvesh Rathi bowled the ball quick just outside off, and the wicketkeeper batter had a massive slog across the line towards the cow corner fielder. Badoni was stationed there and he took the catch, but he was off balance and would have crossed the boundary and conceded a six had he not controlled himself and lobbed the ball up towards Ravi Bishnoi.Â
It took something extraordinary to halt the carnage of #PrabhsimranSingh! 🙌🏻

The leg spinner had come running from deep square leg. Bishnoi was in position and he dived forward to complete the catch, sending Prabhsimran back to the pavilion.Â
Prabhsimran had batted brilliantly in the chase until then and had led PBKS’s charge against the 172 target in Lucknow. He was playing reverse sweeps and other funky shots along with some solid on-the-ground hits, and had smashed nine fours and three sixes in the 33 deliveries.Â
He also held the chase after Priyansh Arya was dismissed in the third over and, along with Shreyas Iyer, batted above the required run rate until he was finally dismissed by Digvesh Rathi in the 11th over.Â
